Location. The Pelican Bay Resort at Lucaya is located adjacent to Lucayan Marketplace on Grand Bahama island. The resort rises above a promontory that extends into Bell Channel Bay near the Grand Bahama's southern shoreline. Beach and water sports, a tennis center and the Isle of Capri Casino are positioned within 400 yards of this resort.
Hotel Features. Dining options include Sabor Restaurant and Bar at Pelican Bay, a waterfront bar and eatery that offers a range of culinary options that include wok creations and traditional Bahamian boiled fish. A business center houses two computers. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the resort, for a fee. Recreational options include a complimentary shuttle boat that transports passengers to a companion property with a marina and a poolside restaurant. A watercraft center operates 300 yards from the resort and rents snorkeling gear, windsurfers, kayaks, Hobie Cat sailboats and personal watercraft. The center also offers parasailing, water skiing and boating excursions.
Guestrooms. The Pelican Bay Resort at Lucaya offers 182 guestrooms and suites in an island-style village setting. Three- and four-story buildings are capped with red-tile roofs. Guestrooms extend onto either white or weathered-wood verandas or balconies furnished with teak or rattan furniture. Guestroom interiors feature tropical décor. Accommodations are cooled with ceiling fans and air conditioning.
Expert Tip. The Lucayan Marketplace, located adjacent to the resort, offers more than 30 restaurants, bars, shops and nightly live entertainment. Restaurant choices include an authentic Irish pub.

Must book in a "Club Grand Bahama - Silver," "Club Grand Bahama - Gold," or "Club Grand Bahama - Platinum" rate category to qualify. Minimum 2-night stay required. Must contact the hotel after booking to provide flight details to receive round-trip airport transportation. Contact information is in the reservation confirmation received after booking. Upon arrival at the airport, look for the Club Grand Bahama desk in the baggage-claim area after clearing Bahamas immigration. Guests will receive a card, list of applicable restaurants, list of applicable destination activities, and redemption information at time of check-in at hotel.
