Location. Located in Treasure Cay on a peninsula that juts from the mainland between Abaco and Little Abaco, the Treasure Cay Hotel Resort and Marina offers a touch of nirvana in the northern Bahamas. One of the most popular resort areas in the Out Islands, Treasure Cay boasts more than five kilometers of pristine beaches and what is considered one of the best marinas in the Commonwealth. Sailing, fishing and diving are extremely popular pastimes. Underwater caverns, inland blue holes, coral reefs and shipwrecks can all be explored, and some nearby scuba centers host night dives. The resort features an outdoor pool and a 72-hole Dick Wilson-designed golf course. A powder-white beach stretches three-and-one-half miles in either direction from the resort. This property offers full services at its 150-slip marina. Four lighted tennis courts are available for play for a fee, and the resort rents a variety of watercraft. Bicycles, golf carts, power boats, motor scooters and diving equipment can be rented at the resort's shopping village. A dive shop offers scuba-diving lessons, and diving and snorkeling excursions. The Coco Beach Bar serves tropical drinks and a light lunch menu in a glass-enclosed room or on the porch. Spinnaker Restaurant and Bar features seafood, steak and pasta dinners along with a light lunch menu. Dining hours of operation vary during the Fall season.
Guestrooms. Each of the guestrooms is decorated in a contemporary tropical fashion with tile floors and rattan furnishings. Rooms are equipped with complimentary wireless Internet access. All accommodations provide coffeemakers and refrigerators.
Expert Tip. The Tipsy Seagull Bar, located within the resort, displays nautical ambience and features menu specials on Tuesday and Thursday. The A-frame structure is a popular nightspot and periodically hosts live music.
