Queen's Staircase
The Queen's Staircase is a 66-step stairway in Nassau, the Bahamas' capital city.
It was cut out of solid limestone rock by 600 slaves between 1793 and 1794 to provide an escape path from the fort above. It is now a famous landmark in Nassau.

Rawson Square is located in the centre of Nassau and is a great place to start exploring the city. This modest cobblestone area is surrounded by colonial-style government buildings and hosts a variety of events and celebrations.
